Sue O'Brien aka Mama Sue! Sue seeks after the heart of God and this is reflected in the unconditional love she has for people. Learning guitar at eight years old and first song "A new commandment" respectively, started an amazing journey of ministering the love of God through music. She says "Four chorded songs are great and an audience of one is even better!" One of Sue's most favourite chapters in the bible is Isaiah 61 as her heart desires to minister healing and restoration through prayers (songs) to the lives of the brokenhearted anywhere that God chooses to send her. The testimony of her first CD single "My Heart Sings" captures the essence of whom she is and who God has called her to be.

Sue has five children aged 20, 21, 24, 25 and 29 as well as three foster children 4mths, 12 and 21.  They are a wonderful testimony of her love and dedication as their mother/caregiver rain or shine.

Sue attends Life West Church and serves in the music team.  She has had the privilege of ministering not only in New Zealand but in Germany and Africa. Her hope is to return to Africa and continue the relationships made with the people of Rwanda.

Sue supports World Vision sharing the plight of the Rwandan's and seeking sponsorship for the many orphans as a result of the genocide. She has worked tirelessly in the youth sector for several years mainly dealing with youth at risk. Sue holds a qualification for School Chaplaincy and has a reputation for delivering a "down to earth" message to school assemblies and community groups. At the end of 2006 her efforts with youth and families were acknowledged with the presentation of a regional award.

A graduate of Excel School of Performing Arts in 2008, Sue proudly boasts of being the oldest student in the history of the school.  She is currently working part time at Excel as Student Support as well as studying for a diploma in Life and Career Coaching.
